I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy for adults and children. My private practice is in Costa Mesa in the beautiful and tranquil "Waters at Creekside" complex located across the street from The Camp, just a few blocks from South Coast Plaza on Bristol. My secondary office is located in Ladera Ranch.
I have over 20 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and am a graduate of Antioch University in Marina del Rey. In my private practice I see a broad spectrum of clients. Working with a diverse population and a variety of issues keeps me fresh and fascinated with my clients and my practice. Among my areas of expertise are helping clients to heal from abuse and trauma, sexual difficulties, depression and anxiety, and relationship issues. I also specialize in Non-directive Play Therapy for children and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing) for adults and children.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, I have presented at CSP on the topic of Adults Molested as Children, and to general audiences speaking on the topics of relationships, communication skills, and parenting.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths, resolve destructive issues from the past, and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
